The Hestan NanoBond pan got a little too hot and browned the egg more than I wanted, but the non-stick performance was still good and it flipped easily without breaking the yolk or ripping the egg.

One thing I noticed is that the knife was much quieter on the Hestan pan compared to the others. The surface is so smooth and hard that the knife almost glides across it.
Since the surface is incredibly hard and highly polished, it's slicker and more scratch resistant than standard stainless steel.
The egg stuck badly to the Hestan, Heritage Steel, and Taima pans.
The pancakes stuck a little bit to the Hestan pan, but not much.
Hestan had a very tiny spot that stuck, but it was barely noticeable.

Titanium ions are vaporized in a vacuum chamber and bonded to the steel surface, creating a layer that's four times harder than typical stainless steel. You can see and feel the difference immediately.

This NanoBond 12.5-inch frying pan is currently listed on Hestan's website for $450. For comparison, Demeyere's most expensive pan, the 12.5-inch pan in the Atlantis collection, is $350, and All-Clad's most expensive pan, the 12-inch Copper Core frying pan, is $365, but it's often on sale for much less.

my only consistent gripe attestant besides the price tag has been the Aesthetics which tends towards a kind of corny pseudo-french visual language especially on the pot and lid handles where they add a kind of awkward bulge so they can emboss the Brand's very ornate logo Sarah and I spent a few years in Napa Valley…

the results on the hestan weren't great um sometimes getting the leading hose effect and getting a non-thick pan off of a tripod can be more difficult and that is just kind of how it goes with pants that are thinner um they can be harder to regulate kind of a a medium temperature of cooking if you need to be a little…

so I don't dislike the hestan yeah I think it's a fine pan yeah I don't know if it would be worth the money yeah that's the thing for me too because it is titanium and I'm sure there's some cost that goes in there and they hold the patent for it so I'm assuming they can charge essentially whatever similar to like new…

and then these two are actually pretty comparable I have to say even with a smaller pan these two actually look pretty similar all clad in the Heston with the demire kind of in the lead there
and here's our Heston nanobond and I was saying as well that this guy I would say is actually comparable if actually at the end maybe actually even a little bit nicer in terms of evenness of cooking then the allclad
honestly they all they're all great pants they all did a great job for me the the Far and Away lead is this guy um but for just a small eight inch pan I'm pretty pretty happy with this one too
that was interesting so you know good results from from the Nano Bond yeah um you know nothing Well above or different no not so much right per se

one thing I will say which is something that they do claim is that you can barely scratch this and I'll say I'm going like I'm not reefing on this guy with this fish bat but there is like no scratching on the surface whatsoever which I realize when it comes to actually cooking it has nothing to do with how it's going…

and then this was our Heston so you can see that's probably where the most residue actually is so that is coming off
so yeah it looks like the Hester didn't stand up as well as these two guys
you still seem to be getting empty a little bit of stick still yeah a little bit
we're just gonna give this a quick little clip but still like still not as good uh I would say even so it took a little bit more finance a little bit more finickiness and that that's kind of what you usually expect out of a D3 right oh sorry out of a tripod yeah for sure

Another thing you should know before buying Hestan is that after a few uses, they won't look as sparkling and shiny as they do when you take them out of the box. All that said, there’s one thing I really don’t like about these handles. And that’s this large hanging loop at the end. It’s nice to be able to hang the pan from a hook, but the hole is unnecessarily large. This big opening, combined with the thinness of the handle, makes it uncomfortable to hold at the end. There's…

The knife made a significant gouge in the ProBond pan. It also scratched the NanoBond pan but the damage wasn't as bad.

I repeated this test on the bottom of the pan, and the results were the same - The ProBond scratch was significant, and the NanoBond scratch was noticeable but not as deep.
