you know Demeyer industry and Demeyer Proline specifically um you know it has met our expectations over and over and over and over again it's it's such high quality cookware that you know when people send us cookware for testing that's our Benchmark so we're like okay well if it cost X and it does why then you know it…

as it heats up the oil starts flowing out to the side so there's there's an area of about that size in the middle of the pan where it gets very little oil because it's as soon as the paint heats up but just the oil just flows to the side and that is really annoying um for two reasons one is obviously well you the oil…

Two judgements rest on this sentence:

with this industry with this much lighter industry however on the same heat setting it was sort of able to maintain that sound for the third first 30 seconds or so and it didn't even do that very well because the sound that i heard was kind of half sizzling half steaming and after about 30 seconds it just started to…
the handle on the pro line both the main handle and the helper handle the finish is nicer it's polished and smooth and this one has a rougher texture
the finish on the helper handle on the industry is not as polished or um that doesn't look as premium as the pro line okay but again that's to be expected because this is the slightly lower end lower end product line

neither handle for me and this is one slight dislike about these pants is neither handle for me gives me a very secure grip i just find them a bit too a bit too slippery and a bit too narrow

handling Tested it Demeyere Industry 5 vs Atlantis Proline 7 Fry Pans (Skillets)

Cites handle (against)

but the handle is a bit it's a bit flatter than the proline so yeah so in that sense it does give you a little bit more work but not significantly so
the one thing that i always dislike about all the handles on the industry five is that they yeah just they they just stick out a bit too much i extend too much from the side of the pen so i don't know why they had to make this so so big
12:36 objects MQ Cookware Reviewer
that's one thing you've got to be mindful with this lighter pen is that you have to be careful not to overload the pan otherwise the food will steam or start to steam

use-case fit Tested it Demeyere Industry 5 vs Atlantis Proline 7 Fry Pans (Skillets)

Cites size and capacity (against)

and i i i just can't see it in this pan so maybe this pen will need to reduce the quantity by half if you want to maintain that maintain that sear
3:32 objects MQ Cookware Reviewer
that's especially important with this industry 5 because it is much much thinner than a pro line and if you have a hob that's too small and you put it on a very high heat i'm not confident that the pan will not warp

so i'm a little bit disappointed with the thickness of this pen um it just feels very thin okay that made me that's just my personal opinion

which which it sounds a little bit harsh because the industry five is still a very premium product okay it sits one tier below the atlantis or the proline series um but it's still it's still a very premium product okay so i'm not saying this is a bad product in any way okay

if you really don't want the heavy pan then the industry 5 is still going to be a very good choice

Since industry pans are thinner, they heat faster but the temperature fluctuates quicker when you turn the knob or add ingredients. So you have to monitor your cooking more closely to make sure you don't overcook or burn something.

With both collections, Demeyere welds their handles to the pan instead of attaching them with rivets, so the cooking surface is completely smooth. Rivets tend to collect grime and become discolored, so the rivetless design makes cleaning much easier.

And hey, presto. That is a very loose egg on a stainless steel pan.
I'm getting a nice crispy edge all around that egg.
How's the underc carriage look? Yeah, it's actually very nice. Little bit of browning. You got a little bit of crisp. The crisp is really nice.
So, I didn't actually take the pan heat above medium at all. I was kind of like low to medium the whole way pretty much. So, this thing definitely retains heat very well indeed, I must say. Like, there's still tons of heat in this. And this has been off the heat for about almost 10 minutes. So that's really good.
Now, let's see how the pan handles the butter. You can see it's foaming. Perfect temperature.
But look at the quality of that boneette. That slightly nutty color and flavor. It's just basting and holding absolutely beautifully.
Yep, came off. No problem whatsoever.

The rivets on the Made In pan I got years ago jet out further than most brands. It's hard to clean around the rivets so oil and food bits would often bake into the pan.
Still they don't offer flush rivets or rivetless options like several other brands.
I mentioned that I like the handle design but I need to call out the handle angle. Made In handles are almost even with the top of the pan. You can fit the pan in the oven with less space between racks but since the handle isn't angled upward like most, your hand is a little bit closer to the heat.
Also, there's a small space where the handle bends that's extremely difficult to clean unless you scrub it with a toothbrush.

And it can handle up to 800 degrees in the oven.
Based on my real-world testing, Made In lives up to the hype.
As the water heated up, tiny bubbles were uniform across the entire cooking surface, which indicates even heat distribution.
I've run this test with 20 other brands and Made In was the second fastest to boil the water, which is a good thing, but surprising considering the pan is relatively thick.
As you can see in the chart, Made In had the highest water temperature after 10 minutes.
The last feature I'll highlight is the large cooking surface. The diameter of the 12-inch fry pan's cooking surface is 9.5 inches. Most 12-inch pans are closer to 9 inches, so you get a little more flat space to cook.

They seem like they're going to last and they have a lifetime warranty, so I'm impressed with that.

Now, it's riveted in. So, you've got your rivets there. Now, all the pans that have got the rivets in like this, they do get dirty.

So, the handle is supposed to be stay cool. Closer to here is definitely hot. you will burn yourself. But up here at the minute, it is definitely cooler. Um, I'm not sure after a long extended use if I would say that that is a really stay cool handle. So, that's one potential little ding there.

the cooking surface of the 12-in pan is 9.5 in across which is slightly larger than most Maiden has some steeper walls giving it a larger cooking surface so you get a little extra food that you can cook on your pan
I don't mind having these two little protrusions and as you can see there's not a whole lot of food that has gotten stuck in or around that area
once you have mastered the art of preheating your pan before you put food on it you can confidently cook most foods without any fear of stuck on food
if you do happen to burn food on your pan you can always soak it you can toss it in the dishwasher and in really extreme cases I've always found that baking soda and vinegar gets the job done

Like I'm coming from this which I've had forever which is a three ply but a similar weight to that. Honestly, this is lighter. So, I would say that these are lighter for sure.
