About the brand itself
I went to the mis website, created an absolutely truthful twostar review. I posted the review and I waited and I waited and I waited and I'm still waiting. That review didn't show up.
So, I made a five-star review. Five stars box out of the the pen out of the box was excellent. That review got posted instantaneously.
they are absolutely 100% throttling this message. They are keeping the negative reviews from being visible and they are only posting high reviews, fives, and they have their token threes and twos and ones here.
There are a ton of alternatives to choose from, but my top picks for non-stick cookware are Made In, Misen, and All-Clad HA1.

Misen is cheaper than Made In and Heritage Steel, mainly because it's made in China, but the quality is still high.

You could buy 2, sometimes 3 Misen pans for the cost of one All-Clad pan.
Between those two, I'd go with Misen.
Cites maintenance
So if you want the simplest, most low-maintenance option, I'd go with Misen.
This is truly a case where you cannot go wrong with all three pans.
They're not optimized for heat retention like thicker carbon steel or cast iron pans, but within this group, Strata held its temperature the best by about 10°.

Misen stuck badly. A thin layer of pancake stayed glued to the surface, and I couldn't flip it without tearing it.
They're not as slick as a brand-new Teflon pan, but if you don't overheat them and you use a little oil or butter, food won't stick.
The only times I've had issues were when I overheated them.
The water from the Misen and Anolon came out completely clear, but the water from Strata was cloudy with a yellow tint, which means bits of the seasoning layer were breaking down and leaching into the liquid.
Cites flavour impact, non-stick surface
First, I preheated each pan to 325°F, added exactly one teaspoon of oil and 5 g of butter, and cooked an egg. All three passed this test. The eggs slid around with no sticking.
Next, I cut the fat in half, using just a half teaspoon of oil and 2 g of butter. Again, all three pans handled it without sticking.
Then I tested pancakes with a light layer of butter. Misen and Anolon released cleanly, but Strata had some slight sticking.
Misen and Anolon were both impressively nonstick right out of the box, and they've stayed that way for months.
To be totally honest with you, this was one of the toughest reviews I've ever done because all three pans perform really well, and they're all priced pretty much the same.
You’re not getting American-made products, but you don’t care where it’s made and just need a pan that cooks evenly and lasts long, Misen is a great option.
Cites durability, even heating

Its 5-ply stainless steel cookware is 3 mm thick and features an aluminum core just like the All-Clad D3 collection.

After that, I set up a stand mixer so a whisk was in constant contact with the cooking surface for two straight minutes. All three ended up with some light scuff marks, but no deep scratches or any real damage.
Cites acid resistance, coating durability, maintenance, rust resistance, scratch resistance, warp resistance
Misen and Strata both have aluminum cores, which in theory help spread heat more evenly and reduce that stress.
To test it, I measured how flat each pan was, then heated them to 425°F on induction for 2 minutes. All three started out slightly concave, which is common because manufacturers build in a little curve to allow for expansion. After heating, none of them showed any visible change.
To see if Misen and Anolon's claims are true, I got all three pans wet and left them overnight. The next morning, none of them had any rust.
Next, I simmered crushed tomatoes in each pan for 15 minutes. Acidic foods usually break down seasoning, and that's exactly what happened with Strata. Its surface went from dark and seasoned to light and patchy. Misen and Anolon were unchanged.
After that, I repeated the overnight water test. Again, Misen showed no rust, but since the tomato sauce had stripped away Strata's seasoning layer, it came back rusty.
I haven't noticed any decline or change in their performance.
But because it needs seasoning and that seasoning can break down with acidic foods, it requires more maintenance than Misen and Anolon.
One thing I like about Misen better than All-Clad, besides the price, is their sealed rims. The rim of All-Clad pans has somewhat sharp edges. Misen seals the edges so they’re more rounded and smooth.

It's the closest replacement to a traditional Teflon-coated aluminum pan.
Today, brands like Misen, Goldilocks, Cuisinart, and Calphalon produce similar fully clad pans at lower costs by manufacturing in China.
That said, brands like Made In, Misen, and Heritage Steel make excellent quality stainless steel pans for less, and you might like their handle designs better.
And if your budget is under $100 for a fry pan, my top picks are Cuisinart Multiclad Pro, Misen, and Goldilocks. Cuisinart has the most comfortable and secure handle. Misen is the heaviest and sturdiest and has sealed rims. And Goldilocks performs consistently well at a low price.
Cites build quality, weight
Misen's grill pan lid, which is flat with ridges, also performed well in this test.
Cites lid
Misen's handle is comfortable, but because it's rounded, it can get slippery, especially if you're wearing an oven mitt or washing it with soapy hands.
Cites handle (against)
These pans are designed to be lightweight and easy to use.
When comparing the 10-inch pans, all three are under three pounds, so they're easy to maneuver, but Misen has the widest cooking surface and the lowest walls. The difference is minor.
Strata and Misen both weigh about 3 lb, while Anolon jumps to 4.3 lb.
On the positive side, this Dutch oven has large handles with wide openings.

brands like Sardel, Hestan, and Misen make pans with sealed rims to avoid this issue altogether
Cites base and rim
Misen has a dark matte surface that fades a little bit with use.
