some of the people actually said that this warped while they were cooking on an induction top or a ceramic top and that would definitely be a deal breaker because if it warps you can't it won't cook induction works by contact

here is one of the differences in the specs so all clad you can put under a broiler and you can bring it up to a temperature safely up to 600 degrees won't warp it's designed for that now costco on the other hand these are only suggested to be brought up to a temperature of 380 degrees and they're really not designed…

the center of the old clay pan is 171 and the center of the costco pan is at 143. so the all plaid pan comes up to temperature faster than the costco pan
so at 5 minutes and 15 seconds this is pretty much boiling that is starting to boil the all-clad pan comes up to temperature faster
so i did manage to get them clean it took at least 15 minutes to clean each one it was really uncomfortable boiling them with the bar keepers friend really made the difference

What do Gear Review YouTube say about sauté pans in general?

The helper handle really helps stabilize the pan when it's ripping hot and it's coming out of the oven full of food. So you want that.

Cites handle, safety, weight

In terms of the primary handle, they preferred them longer and straighter, like this one or that one.
And testers really preferred the lighter end, the ones closer to 3 pounds.

One is it's got a pretty broad cooking surface, like that skillet does. Second, it's got medium, high straight sides.

All of these pins did well in our cooking tests, and those included making Swedish meatballs, baking Mexican rice, and sauteing a pound of fresh spinach.
One of the characteristics that made a difference to testers was the cooking surface.

How do sauté pans score among Gear Review YouTube?

Computed only from claims about sauté pans by people we have grounds to call Gear Review YouTube, so the axes answer “according to Gear Review YouTube” rather than “according to everyone”.

Objections raised

2 negative claims, mostly performance and ergonomics. How much complaint is on the record. A high figure means the drawbacks have been stated and quoted, not that the thing is worse.

These are separate measurements, not components of a score. They are never added together, and there is no overall rating, because which of them matters depends on what you are buying the thing for. An axis that says no evidence means nobody has spoken about it, not that the answer is low.
