About All-Clad stainless pan and Hestan CopperBond.
We have not used any of these ourselves. We read 22 sources and structured what 9 people said. Of the 13 quotes below, 7 are complaints and 3 come from someone with a declared commercial interest. Every one of them links to the person who said it and the second they said it.
Based on 9 people, 22 sources and 147 recorded claims. A declared interest is labelled beside the quote rather than removed.
Uncle Scott, an independent reviewer, tells buyers to start with an All-Clad D3, while Adam Byatt, who uses Hestan pans professionally, says CopperBond is the one he reaches for most. Prudent Reviews, a cookware reviewer who tests pans and discloses an affiliate interest on recommendations, tested both and clocked CopperBond as the fastest of eight pans to heat, ahead of All-Clad's Copper Core. Both pans split reviewers on price: more of the 9 people quoted fault it than praise it, and none says the extra cost is worth it.

I use mainly Hestan pans. That's the pan of choice for me. Uh, and the copper bond is the choice of the pan that I like the most.
Of the eight pans I tested, Hestan CopperBond heated the fastest, followed by All-Clad Copper Core.
Cites heating speed, heating speed, heating speed
After one minute, Made In and Hestan CopperBond had the highest temperature in the center, but Hestan ProBond and Hestan ProBond TITUM heated the most evenly.
After three minutes, All-Clad Copper Core, Hestan CopperBond, and Hestan ProBond were the hottest in the center, but All-Clad D3 had the most uniform temperature.
Both collections are a hefty upfront investment, but the D5 collection is even more expensive than D3.

Expect to pay between 10 and 30% more for D5.
The other collections are expensive too. The CopperBond pan is $420, ProBond TITUM is $270, and ProBond without the non-stick coating is $250.

Similar to All-Clad Copper Core, this collection is only worth it if you really value the responsiveness of copper. And the reality is, it’s not enough of a difference that the average home cook would notice.

The handle is the most polarizing of any pan I tested. It has a concave groove on top that locks the pan in place so it won't rotate. And it works really well if you grab the handle with a towel or oven mitt, but since the groove is so deep, the edges can dig into your hand and make it very uncomfortable.

All that said, there’s one thing I really don’t like about these handles. And that’s this large hanging loop at the end. It’s nice to be able to hang the pan from a hook, but the hole is unnecessarily large. This big opening, combined with the thinness of the handle, makes it uncomfortable to hold at the end. There's…

To match the Tramontina set, an All-Clad buyer has to drop another couple hundred on open stock. Round three goes to the Tramontina. The cheaper set is more complete out of the box.
I like the heat coverage I get. I like the heat retention in the pan. I like the triple layer of the cooking. And I just think that they look right, they feel right, the weight is right, and the cooking retention in the pan is perfect for my style.

Prudent Reviews holds 104 of the 147 claims behind this comparison, 71% of everything said about either pan, so most of what looks like agreement is one reviewer's method repeated rather than separate people finding the same thing. None of the 9 people quoted states how long they have owned an All-Clad or a Hestan pan, and neither product has any ownership duration behind it at all. All-Clad has two owners among its 7 recommenders; Hestan CopperBond has none; the closest anyone comes is Adam Byatt, who uses Hestan pans professionally, and reviewers who tested it once rather than lived with it. David Chang, a chef speaking on GQ under a sponsored interest, calls the All-Clad pan a lifetime workhorse from cooking on it professionally rather than timing one himself.
they're just workhorses they're fantastic you know you don't even have to treat it well if you just clean it it'll last you your entire lifetime

Our Motto: You can never have too much great cookware and kitchen gear. Our Philosophy: If you have great equipment and great ingredients, with a little practice you can cook any dish in the world. At USK, we make recipes, review frying pans, deep fryers, knives, grain mills, gadgets, pots and pans, and anything else you might find in a high-end kitchen. We teach people how to season carbon steel and cast iron pans, show people the proper way to cook eggs, tell a few jokes, and cook delicious meals. We really like high quality brands such as De Buyer, Falk, Matfer, Lodge, Smithey, Mauviel, Le Creuset, live, Staub, Breville, and others. And, importantly, Uncle Scott buys all of the products he reviews with his own money, and unlike many cookware channels, no free items are accepted for review. This keeps Uncle Scott's reviews genuine, trustworthy, and unbiased. Any sponsored videos or affiliate sales links are clearly labelled.
Every product, brand and category named in a claim behind this article, not only the ones with a section of their own above. Where we hold a full page for one, it is linked; the rest are named as text because the evidence has not cleared that bar yet.
Short quotes and deep links only. We publish no transcripts, and every quote above opens the original at the second it was spoken.
The prose above was written by a model from a fact sheet assembled out of the evidence, then checked line by line: every quote verbatim against the evidence table, every name against a claim, every number against the sheet. Prose that fails is not published. It is derived data, not testimony. The testimony is the quotes.

When someone quoted here was paid, sponsored, sent the product free or works for the brand, the quote says so and, where they said it themselves, gives their own words about it. We keep those quotes rather than dropping them: a paid endorsement is still evidence, and you should be the one to decide what it is worth.
